NORWALK - The New Haven line on Metro-North is running again after it was suspended this morning due to equipment and switch failures related to the blizzard.

Metro-North says overnight it had to move hundreds of passengers from disabled trains onto other trains.

There is limited service on the Hudson, Harlem and New Haven lines. The trains will operate hourly and make all local stops. In addition, a regular Sunday schedule is in effect . MTA officials say customers should listen for service change announcements. They also urge caution when getting on and off trains due to the icy conditions.

The storm has dumped 12-18 inches in parts of southwestern Connecticut.
