SOUTH NORWALK - Officials say repairs on Metro-North's New Haven Line are set to start early next year.

The wires from the South Norwalk to Greens Farms Road stations will be replaced.

In addition, wires along a five-mile stretch east of the rail bridge over the Pequonnock River will be replaced.

MTA officials say a similar project between Southport and Bridgeport has taken almost two years to complete.

They say construction between those stations is expected to be finalized in December.
