Metro-North resumes some service

Metro-North train service has resumed between Stamford and Grand Central Station. Train service began again at 1:30 p.m on Saturday.

Metro-North's fares jumped between 8.2 and 9.3 percent for monthly, one-way, round-trip and 10-trip ticket holders.

NEW YORK - Metro-North train service has resumed between Stamford and Grand Central Station.

Train service began again at 1:30 p.m on Saturday.

Service between Stamford and New Haven remain suspended.
