NORWALK - Commuters welcomed the news that train service resumed today, but still had to cope with delays this morning for the second day in a row.

Metro-North officials say this morning's commute went well, thanks in part to preparations planned after Superstorm Sandy.

Some commuters were frustrated by how long the commute took, while others said it was no more of a problem than usual.

Some Metro-North riders arrived at the train station hours ahead of time to combat a lack of parking. Those who were able to take the train say they fared better than those on buses.

Commuters say they are glad to see service return to normal tomorrow.
