Officials say an equipment malfunction left a packed MTA train stuck on the tracks in Darien, delaying 500 people for more than an hour early Saturday morning.

The breakdown occurred at around 2 a.m. at the Noroton Heights Metro-North station. The train was coming from Grand Central Station in New York City.
