DANBURY - The New York Mets plan to honor the Danbury Hospital nurse who was shot on the job earlier this week.

Andy Hull is currently recovering after he was shot three times by a patient after he jumped in front of a colleague.

A friend of Hull's sent an e-mail to radio station WFAN telling them about Hull's love of the team. The station contacted the team and it came through with an offer to give him the royal treatment at a game of his choice.

Hull's mother says her son plans to take the team up on its offer as soon as he's recovered.
