Michael Skakel to get bond hearing this week in killing of Martha Moxley

GREENWICH - A judge will hear arguments this week on whether he has the authority to release Kennedy cousin Michael Skakel from prison while he awaits a new trial.

A judge recently granted Skakel a new trial in the murder of Martha Moxley in Greenwich in 1975.

Prosecutors argue the judge can't release Skakel on bond because they are appealing that decision.

The bond hearing is set for Wednesday.
