NEW CANAAN - New Canaan police say a Stamford man is facing charges after a soda bottle linked him to a burglary in town.

Police arrested Miguel Palencia when he showed up for court on an unrelated charge on Tuesday.

Police say Palencia's fingerprints were found on a Coca-Cola bottle left at a burglary scene back in 2011.

They say in that case, a TV and $20,000 worth of jewelry were stolen from a home on Oenoke Ridge Road.
