MILFORD - Equestrians in Milford were delighted to bring their horses to the Eisenhower Park riding rings on a sunny afternoon on Wednesday.

Trainers like Richard Crandley, of Silver Horseshoe Stable, say it is a privilege to finally be riding back outdoors at the park after what seemed like a long winter.

He says the major problem trainers have is getting horses from their barns to the park.

“People don't understand. Horses can spook at cars,” said Crandley.

He also says that dogs that run free in the park have also caused a number of incidents.
