MILFORD - Students at Platt Technical High School in Milford prepared a three-course meal for needy families and the homeless earlier today. Nearly 150 people attended the lunch, which included platters of turkey, carved ham, buttered rolls and sweet potatoes. "It makes me feel jittery because I feel good knowing that I'm helping others," one student says. Organizers say the event was made possible thanks to donations from the Restaurant Depot in Orange and the ShopRite in West Haven.
