MILFORD - A Milford home is covered in ice after a broken pipe on the second floor led to flooding and freezing.

It happened at the corner of Springdale and Buckingham streets.

The company in charge of cleaning up the damage says the whole first floor will have to be gutted.

Authorities say that because the property owner was not at home at the time, the damage happened before they were able to break in to the house and turn the water off. Somebody passing by saw the ice and called firefighters.
