MILFORD - Milford fire officials today confirmed the identity of a man killed in a house fire yesterday.

Alex Szabados was pronounced dead at the scene after crews failed to resuscitate him.

The fire destroyed the home located at 63 Summit Ave. The cause of the fire remains under investigation, but firefighters believe it started in the living room.

Neighbors say Szabados is survived by his wife and two adult children.
