MILFORD - Milford kicked off its annual Toys for Tots program yesterday.

Santa Claus joined Mayor Ben Blake outside City Hall to collect the first donations.

This is the 48th year for the toy drive.

The fire department says it will be collecting unwrapped gifts through Nov. 30.

Gifts or checks can be dropped off at any fire house in the city.

If you would like to donate to the Toys for Tots Program, you may do so at any Milford Fire Station or send a check to:

Any family needing assistance should call 203-874-6783 after Nov. 30. Proof of residency is required.
