MILFORD - A Milford man is making his final appearance on NBC's "Today Show" after transforming his body and health in front of millions of viewers.

Ken Valvo was selected in August as one of three contestants for a weight loss challenge started by "Today on NBC."

"When I went in there and I was out of shape, and I was wearing workout clothes that were arguably too tight, I definitely was self-conscious knowing that all those eyeballs were on me," Valvo says.

Valvo has lost 31 pounds and says that exercising and eating the right foods have become part of his everyday routine.

"Between having a great job and a wonderful family - and now I have my health back - I feel great," he says.
