MILFORD - Milford police are searching for the man who robbed a bank at gunpoint yesterday.

Police have released a surveillance picture of the robber.

Police describe him as a black male, about 6 feet tall with a slim build, wearing a blue-hooded jacket, jeans and he had a red bandana covering the lower part of his face.

Police say a K9 unit tracked the suspect's scent from the bank to nearby Gulf Street, where officers believe he got into a get-away car.

They say the bundle of money given to the robber had a dye pack inside, and it most likely exploded moments after the heist.
