Milford police say they are looking for the thief behind a used car scam. Police say the suspect, who called himself Abdul, met the victim

MILFORD - Milford police say they are looking for the thief behind a used car scam.

Police say the suspect, who called himself Abdul, met the victim on the Internet and set up an appointment for her to buy a used car.

When they met at the Westfield Mall on March 2, police say the woman gave him more than $3,000 but he never delivered the car.

Anyone with information is asked to call Milford police at 203-878-6551.
