MILFORD - Milford police are seeking the public's assistance in finding the culprit who they say committed a double stabbing Sunday night.
The incident occurred at around 7:30 p.m. at the Spinnaker Green Apartments on Washington Street. Police say Amado Rodriguez, 48, entered a unit where his estranged wife works as a live-in caretaker.
According to police, Rodriguez went into the bedroom in which his wife was sleeping and slashed her neck with a knife. They say he also stabbed the elderly man for whom she cares. Rodriguez then allegedly fled in the man's Connecticut-registered 2011 gray Hyundai Tucson with the license plate 826 YTB.
