Milford police seize 15 pounds of pot

MILFORD - A Southington man has been arrested on drug charges after Milford police say he had marijuana shipped to two local UPS stores.

Police say Sean Hutton, 29, arranged to have three packages of marijuana mailed to fake accounts set up at the stores in Milford and Stratford.

They say they were alerted about suspicious packages being delivered and brought in their drug-sniffing dog to see if the packages contained illegal substances.

Police estimate the street value of the marijuana was $75,000.
