MILFORD - Milford residents spent Friday braving the aggressive cold to dig out cars and sidewalks.
The National Weather Service says Milford was one of the hardest hit cities during the snowstorm. Temperatures reached a 15-year low Friday.
Many residents told News 12 Connecticut that the snow was the least of their problems amid the bone-chilling temperatures. One resident said the 8-degree temperature coupled with the speedy gusts of wind reminded him of his youth in Canada.
Other neighbors were seen out playing and refusing to let the cold keep them from enjoying the snow.
Drivers are urged to be cautious on icy roadways.
