MILFORD - Milford town officials are warning residents to be careful after bobcats were spotted in the town earlier this week.

Animal Control says bobcats have been seen on Masters Lane near the town's border with Orange.

Residents have taken photos and say they're using social media to spread the word around the community. They also believe there is a den of them nearby. The bobcats allegedly come out at night around 6:30 and citizens are worried due to there being a lot of small pets and children in the area.

Residents are warned to be careful and keep their pets on a leash or in an area where they can see them.
