MILFORD - A violent incident that put one student in the hospital has officials at a Milford school implementing a 'no touching' policy, according to parents. Parents at the East Shore Middle School say the change came after a student was sent to the hospital after being kicked in the groin. The principal sent out a letter earlier in the week telling parents recent behavior has seriously impacted the safety and learning at East Shore. The letter goes on to say all forms of physical contact are now prohibited. Students and parents say the new policy means no means high-fives and hugs, as well as any horseplay. Some say they are concerned the school's no tolerance policy goes too far.
