MILFORD - The city of Milford has settled a lawsuit with a former high school gymnast who was hurt when plywood fell on her bare feet.

Kaylee Ritchie was setting up a temporary floor for practice when 10-12 boards fell on her feet back in 2004 when Ritchie was 14.

Her lawyers say the coach told students to set up the floor, but school policy said only custodial staff was allowed to.

The city decided to settle the suit for $625,000.
