MILFORD - Milford and Fairfield took the gold for snow accumulation, with about 14 inches on the ground after Thursday’s snowfall.

Thursday night brought a break in precipitation, and residents used that time to get as much snow as possible out of the way before the second round.

A lot of people say they are just sick of shoveling themselves out of their driveways over and over again.

Town and city workers will be out all night Thursday and all day Friday. Authorities ask that residents not shovel snow into the roads. Residents are, however, asked try to dig out fire hydrants.
