MILFORD - After witnessing the devastating aftermath of Hurricane Irene on TV, a Milford woman decided to help her neighbors, some of whom lost everything in the flooding. Using the power of Facebook and Twitter, Missy Lundeen rallied strangers to donate whatever they could to help those in need. Lundeen's efforts paid off as people donated hundreds of items of clothing, food and furniture, as well as basic necessities. The Milford woman says she hopes her experience can set an example to her children. "The world does not revolve around you," Lundeen says.
