BRIDGEPORT - A Bridgeport mother says a bullet shot through the wall of her home narrowly missed hitting her children.

Peggy Burden says she was in her Reservoir Street home at around 11 a.m. yesterday with her three children when a bullet pierced the children's bedroom wall and hit her son's bed.

Burden says it was pure luck that no one was hurt. At the time of the shooting, Burden says she was standing with her children only feet away from the bed.

Burden says she's scared to leave her children alone in the room now.

Police have yet to find a suspect in the shooting.
