FAIRFIELD - The mother of a former Sacred Heart University student organized a rally outside the school today to raise awareness of the dangers of hazing and bullying.

Jasmine Vega says she was kidnapped from her dorm one year ago today, and forced to do military drills with her sorority. Her mother, Jacqueline Rossy-Vega, says she wants to make sure these incidents happen less often on campuses around the country.

Her mother says she is still trying to get answers from the school about what happened, and what it's doing to prevent hazing in the future.

Sacred Heart officials say they have eliminated the sorority from the school, and have closed the investigation.
