NORWALK - Gov. Dannel Malloy (D-Conn.) was among those in attendance tonight as nearly 700 students graduated from Norwalk Community College.Many of the students were starting class two or three years ago, in the middle of a recession. The college's president says the downturn helped make the Class of 2011 the most diverse class ever.The president says a number of the students will be going on to four-year programs, including Ivy League schools such as Columbia University and the University of Pennsylvania.
