BRIDGEPORT - About 100 students at Achievement First Bridgeport Academy Middle School and Elementary School on Noble Avenue began school orientation today.

Teachers say the orientation was only for students who are new to the school, which is the entire fifth-grade class and a few other children.

The orientation process is geared to show the new students the rules of the school, such as walking straight in the hallway and always bringing in homework.

The elementary school students were learning how to raise their hands, talk in turn and develop a routine.

The orientation students have one more day tomorrow before the entire school comes back on Monday.
