BRIDGEPORT - More children are being treated by doctors today after being pricked by a hypodermic needle at a Bridgeport school.

Officials at New Beginnings Family Academy in Bridgeport say four students were pricked by a hypodermic needle brought in by another student.

Principal Ronelle Swagerty says all four students were accidentally pricked by the same hypodermic needle and there was no malicious intent.

News 12 previously reported that three students at Hallen School in Bridgeport were also pricked by hypodermic needles brought in by a student this week.

Parents in that case say a student intentionally pricked other students with needles he brought to school.

Officials say the two cases are unrelated.
