WESTON - SWAT teams across southwestern Connecticut were in New Canaan last night during a standoff with a wanted man.

Police say it started when they went to execute a search and arrest warrant at 260 Ponus Ridge Road for 48-year-old Scott Deicas.

According to police, Deicas made threats to kill local school and town officials. Deicas worked for a private school bus company that serviced Weston and was transferred last fall after students complained.

He is being held without bail and expected to be in court on Monday.
