NEW HAVEN - Police in New Haven say a woman who was attacked and mauled by two dogs last week has died.

Authorities say Jocelyn Winfrey was walking with a friend when his dogs began biting them both.

Winfrey, 53, died yesterday from her injuries.

Animal control officials are calling the dogs American Bulldog mixes.

They have been quarantined in a shelter.
