NORWALK - Jurors heard pre-recorded testimony today from an ex-girlfriend of a man who was allegedly approached about a plot to kill Greenwich financier Andrew Kissel.

Deployed soldier Julian Norflet testified that she overheard her former boyfriend discussing the plot with Carlos Trujillo's cousin, Leonard Trujillo. She says her boyfriend was offered money for the crime, but she told him it was a bad idea.

In a plea deal, Leonard pleaded guilty to manslaughter and conspiracy to commit murder, but claims he didn't go through with the actual crime.

FBI agents and bank officials also took the stand today to tell the jury about a money laundering scheme in the month's before Kissel's expected imprisonment for fraud. They say Kissel may have given Carlos Trujillo more than a hundred thousand dollars.
