Newborn fawn rescued after its mother was killed by train

WESTON - Dara Reid's wildlife rehab facility has given a newborn fawn a second chance after its mother was killed by a train this week.

Reid says the fawn was rescued quickly and was in a state of shock, but luckily suffered no physical injuries.

The day-by-day transition hasn?t been an easy one, but Reid says the fawn gotten more comfortable and hopes to have her back in the wild by the end of summer.
