Newtown 911 tapes to be released tomorrow

NEWTOWN - Officials in Newtown say they will release the 911 recordings from the Sandy Hook School shooting tomorrow.

The state prosecutor decided not to appeal a judge's decision to release them to the public.

Several news agencies filed freedom of information requests to gain access to the tapes, so they could examine the police response to the shooting.

A total of 20 children and six educators were killed in the shootings at Sandy Hook Elementary School last December.
