Students in Newtown headed back to school today. That includes students from Sandy Hook Elementary School who will continue to attend classes at a school

MONROE - Students in Newtown headed back to school today.

That includes students from Sandy Hook Elementary School, who will continue to attend classes at a school in Monroe.

Newtown officials plan to tear down the buildings on the Sandy Hook campus and build a new school.

Newtown's former superintendent left the district after the shootings and is now overseeing Stratford schools.
