DARIEN - Some of the top hockey players in the nation are flocking to a Darien training center converted from an abandoned gas station. Ben Prentiss transformed the gas station into Prentiss Hockey Performance, a facility now frequented by NHL stars. Located off I-95, the building provides a gym, as well as strength and conditioning services. Prentiss has trained more than 30 professional athletes and also works with college and high school players.
