STAMFORD - New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie was in Connecticut today to support Republican Senate candidate Linda McMahon.

The two attended rallies in Stamford, Waterbury and Glastonbury.Christie said McMahon's opponent, Rep. Chris Murphy, is not willing to cross party lines and stand up for all voters. Christie also claimed to be living proof that Republicans can win a blue state and showed faith that McMahon could do the same in Connecticut.

McMahon is currently in a tight race against Murphy. Both are vying for the seat held by retiring Sen. Joe Lieberman.
