STRATFORD - Stratford's Town Council delayed its decision Monday night on the sale of Long Beach West. Town Council members attended a meeting Monday night to discuss selling the property to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. The meeting was delayed an hour and talks were then moved behind closed doors. Council members said they did not make a decision because they need more details about the sale.Stratford Mayor Jim Miron previously vetoed a referendum on the issue, but says he now supports giving voters the final say on the sale.
