NORWALK - There have been no reports of injuries after a car went up in flames in Norwalk.

The car fire shut down the northbound lanes on the Merritt Parkway in Norwalk.

Norwalk resident Rob Slesh, who witnessed the fire, says the car was engulfed in flames in a matter of minutes. He says it appears everyone got out of the car safely.
