NORWALK - Norwalk and Stamford residents lead the area in filing damage claims from March?s Nor?easter.

State records show 140 Norwalk residents and 63 Stamford residents have registered claims with the Federal Emergency Management Agency.

Stamford residents have received the most recovery aid with more than $66,000 going to homeowners and renters for repairs.

The state says more than $2.6 million has been distributed statewide.
