NORWALK - A fundraiser was held at O'Neil's Irish Pub in Norwalk last night to benefit a foundation established in the memory of one of Sandy Hook's victims.

Jesse Lewis was one of the 20 children killed at the school shooting in December and his mother Scarlett started the Jesse Lewis Choose Love Foundation in his honor. The foundation funds curriculums to teach compassion in schools. Scarlett says she was inspired to start it by all the kindness and support she received in the wake of the shooting.

Meanwhile, an annual ceremony will be held in Hartford today, where the six educators killed in the shooting will be honored. Wreaths will be laid in their memory at the Workers' Memorial in Bushnell Park, where a yearly ceremony is held by union leaders who honor workers who were injured or killed on the job.
