NORWALK - A Connecticut dog lover is out to change the image most people have of pit bulls as vicious, dangerous dogs.

Heidi Lueders, of Bully Breeds, says her organization has 20 pit bulls up for adoption, including one who was saved years ago from the home of NFL quarterback Michael Vick.

Leuders says that like any other animal, pit bulls just need the right home and, most importantly, the right owner.

"People need to realize that pit bulls are great, amazing family dogs," she says.
