Norwalk fire leaves family homeless

A Norwalk family of four is homeless after surviving a fire this morning.Authorities say the fire started on the third floor of a Quintard Avenue

NORWALK - A Norwalk family of four is homeless after surviving a fire this morning.

Authorities say the fire started on the third floor of a Quintard Avenue home before 9:30 a.m. Two neighbors were able to help pull out Beatrice Reed, the 83-year-old homeowner, from the fire.

Investigators do not yet know what caused the fire.
