NORWALK - Norwalk police are searching for the suspect who robbed a gas station convenience store Thursday night.

The owner of Crossroad Global gas station says the robbery happened very quickly. According to surveillance video, it took only 14 seconds for the suspect to point a gun at an employee, demand cash and leave with the register's drawer in hand.

Authorities with a K-9 unit reached the station with minutes of the 911 call, but soon thereafter lost the suspect. They say they are exploring the possibility that the suspect had a car waiting for him.

Investigators say no one was hurt.
