NORWALK - One Norwalk high school is offering its students a chance to take a language many wouldn't expect.

The Center for Global Studies at Brien McMahon High School offers Spanish, French, Italian, Chinese, Japanese and recently added classes in modern standard Arabic to the options students have when choosing a language.

Emad Eldigwi, who is originally from Egypt, believes it's very rewarding to teach students about Arabic culture, life and language.

The course also includes an annual trip to Egypt and applications for the class are due in February.
