NORWALK - A Norwalk family says it is lucky to be alive after a massive tree crashed through their home during the powerful weekend storm.

MaryAnn Wirth says she was at her kitchen table when it hit her house. She and her husband say they escaped with only minor bumps and bruises.

Tree removal experts say the damage in the West Norwalk neighborhood where the Wirths live is the worst they've ever seen.
