NORWALK - After Wednesday?s storm, Norwalk Hospital is still feeling its effects.

Power has yet to be restored to the hospital, and as of 10 p.m. the hospital was still running off generators.

The hospital says doctors are not performing any surgeries since there is no available redundant power system available.

Officials say that the emergency room is still operating for patients with minor injuries, but people with more serious needs are being stabilized and sent to a different hospital.

The hospital hopes that power will be restored by Friday morning.
