NORWALK - After more than 30 years in business, Richard Dileo Jewelers in Norwalk announced it will be closing its doors.

The store on Belden Avenue, which opened 33 years ago, has been suffering under the difficult economic times.

"I held on, held on until it just came to a point that I can't hold anymore. It's got to be done," says Richard Dileo.

He and his daughter say that watching customers come back to sell them items they bought at the store years prior was heartbreaking.

They say that they'll be having a big holiday sale to clear out their inventory and will likely close sometime in January.
