NORWALK - A Norwalk man was arrested Friday after police say he tried to abduct a boy walking home from school.

Police say the attempted abduction happened on North Taylor Avenue in Norwalk. They believe the man charged in this latest incident may also be responsible for other attempted abductions throughout southwestern Connecticut. Police say the common denominators are a white van and a similar physical description of the suspect.

The man was charged with risk of injury to a minor as well as disorderly conduct. He is due back in court next month.
