(08/13/10) NORWALK - Police are investigating a street shooting in Norwalk that left one person wounded Friday afternoon.

Witnesses say there was rapid gunfire on Lexington Avenue, shortly before 2 p.m. Authorities say one man was shot in the head. Norwalk Mayor Dick Moccia identified the man as Amos Brown Jr., who was acquitted of a Norwalk murder in 2008. He is said to be in grave condition and police are investigating whether the attack was random, gang-related or possibly retaliation.

So far, no arrests have been made.
